Thirty-two towns, in four county bands

Orange County has no single centre, so this site is organised the way the county is. Pick the band, then the town.

The makers we see most

What actually comes through the door

Microwaves are the most common request that reaches us: built-in and over-the-range units that spin but will not heat, dark displays after a surge, a door latch that no longer engages. Wine coolers come next, usually drifting several degrees off their set point, then ice makers that have quietly stopped producing. Garbage disposals, laundry, ovens and refrigeration follow behind those. We list eleven appliance types on this site because those are the eleven people ask about, not because the number looks tidy.

The county is four different places

Orange County is not one service area. The beach cities take salt off the water, and it works on door seals, hinge hardware and exposed fasteners faster than anything inland does. North County carries the oldest housing stock and the widest spread of appliance ages. Central County is flat, dense and built in long uniform runs, which makes the faults uniform too. South County is master-planned, so a fault in one Mission Viejo kitchen is rarely a one-house problem. We split the site into those four bands because that is how the county behaves.

Brands, parts, and what we do not claim

We work across sixteen brands, from Thermador and Viking through Bosch, LG, Maytag and Speed Queen. That range matters mostly for parts: a Thermador control board and a Speed Queen timer are ordered through different channels and arrive on different schedules, so the availability check happens before we quote. We fit factory-approved parts where the part is still made and a sound equivalent where it is not. One thing to be clear about: a unit still inside its warranty period should go back through the channel the maker runs, not through us.

How a visit works

  1. 01

    Call

Call or use the booking page and tell us the appliance, the brand and what it is doing. If you have the model and serial plate to hand, read it out; it decides which parts we load before leaving.

  2. 02

    Diagnose

A technician runs the machine, reads any stored fault codes and checks the parts that actually fail on that model. The visit and the full diagnosis are the flat $89 service call, whatever the outcome.

  3. 03

    Quote

You get the fault, the part it needs and a written price before anything is opened up or ordered. If the number does not suit you, decline it and pay the service call only.

  4. 04

    Repair

Approved work is usually done on the same visit when the part is on the van. When it has to be ordered we tell you what we are waiting for, then come back and finish the job.

What people say

4.9 from 858 reviews

  • Over-the-range microwave in Ladera Ranch ran but produced no heat. The high-voltage diode had shorted. He replaced it with the capacitor, tested the output, and cleaned the filters before putting the unit back.

    Peter B.Ladera Ranch★★★★★

  • Built-in microwave in an older San Juan Capistrano kitchen sparked inside. The waveguide cover was burnt and there was splatter behind the shelf. Cover replaced, cavity cleaned, and no arcing since that visit.

    Yvette B.San Juan Capistrano★★★★★

  • No response at all from the microwave above the range in our Costa Mesa kitchen. The line fuse had blown behind a failed door switch. Both replaced, interlocks tested, and he checked the outlet as well.

    Sergio B.Costa Mesa★★★★★

Questions people ask

What does the $89 service call cover?

It covers the visit and the full diagnosis: running the machine, reading stored fault codes and identifying the failed part. You get a written price after that. If you approve the repair, the $89 is credited against it in full. If you decline, the $89 is all you pay.

Which parts of Orange County do you cover?

All four bands: the beach cities from Seal Beach to San Clemente, North County along the LA line, the central flatland cities around Santa Ana and Irvine, and the master-planned south. Thirty-two towns have their own page on this site, and the list is the whole service area.

Can you fix it the same day?

Often, yes. Bookings are taken seven days a week and the line is answered around the clock, so a call that comes in early usually gets a slot that day. Whether the repair finishes on the first visit depends on the part, which is why we check availability before quoting.

Do you work on my brand?

Sixteen brands have their own page here, including Thermador, Viking, Maytag, KitchenAid, Bosch, LG, Sub-Zero, Kenmore, Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, Miele and Speed Queen. If yours is not listed, call anyway. The limit is usually parts availability on an obsolete model, not the badge on the door.

Will you give me a price over the phone?

Not a firm one, and you should be wary of anyone who does. The same symptom on the same model can be a loose connector or a failed control board. We tell you the $89 service call up front, then quote the repair in writing once someone has seen the machine.

Are you affiliated with the manufacturers?

No. We are an independent repair company and not affiliated with any of the makers listed on this site. We fit factory-approved parts where they are available. Anything still under manufacturer cover belongs with a factory-authorized provider instead, and we are not one.

Tell us what it is doing

Say what the machine is, what it is doing and roughly when it started, and we will tell you what a visit involves.
